  1. I knew my hatred of mopping was a correct opinion. I like that your bards have a wider variety of musical instruments. I guess I default to thinking of them always using lutes. Trombones are much better.

    1. I think we all default to the lute when we imagine the D&D bard, so I've deliberately leaned into a variety of era-appropriate instruments for this series.

      It's been surprising to discover how old some of these instruments are. I thought the trombone was fairly modern, but it dates back -- as the sackbut -- to around 1420.

  2. Love it! This book (which I assume/hope this will end up in) must have sheet music in it...

    It amuses me to think that a wooden stick (broom) wielding an axe is like "This is the weapon that chopped down my family, now I must avenge them... using THE EXACT SAME WEAPON" (cue bombastic, cinematic music)
