Across 2 Bear (Spider)
Spider-Verse 2: Spider-Verser is excellent and you should go and see it as soon as possible. I only have two quibbles:
The first film was impressive in part because there was nothing like it. You can't say that about the sequel because, well, the first one exists.
Still no recognition for Nicholas Hammond and Shinji Tōdō. Although to be fair, there are hundreds of Spider-Men in the film so they could be in there somewhere.

I wondered if the lack of Hammond was down to a rights issue, but it was a CBS show, so Sony should own them.
ReplyDeleteI hope they do Superior Spider-Man in the third one.
Well, he's old and I think he lives in Australia, so there are probably practical issues -- as with Tōdō, I imagine -- but I hope they can work something out in time for part three.
DeleteI had a feeling that they are holding Superior back for live action, but it would have been a *perfect* arc for Molina's Ock, and I can't see them setting it up and making it work with someone else.
I wasn't expecting him to show up in person, more that they'd use a clip in the way they used the Maguire & Garfield clips.
ReplyDeleteOf course! That would be much more sensible. I didn't think of that.
