The pastry is firm, just the right side of "crispy", with a pleasant bite to it. It looks a bit dry, but appearances in this case are deceiving. The filling is fruity and tasty, but uninteresting, lacking any sort of kick. It's not spicy, there's no citrusy zing, and zero detectable boozy flavours. It's decent enough, but quite generic.
These are a huge improvement over last year's version but in truth they are still just average. 3 out of 5. (Palm Oil)
