Exemplars of averageness these. The pastry has a nice bit of crumble and crunch to it, but is also a tiny bit dry and doesn't have much taste. The filling is juicy and fruity, but there's nothing else going on, no hints of booze or spice. These are perfectly decent fruit pies, but there's nothing festive about them. 3 out of 5. (Palm oil)
